The WL250 wheel loader has an overall lower height and compact dimensions. As a result, the machine can pass through clearance heights of below 2 m without the need to fold down the operator's canopy. The machine’s low center of gravity ensures very good stability and allows the handling of heavy loads. The wheel hub drive also includes the powerful and efficient drive concept, with which all four wheels are directly driven. This purely hydraulic wheel hub drive ensures an increase in efficiency, excellent acceleration, and therefore enables a responsive driving behavior as well as high thrust power.

  • Because of the articulated pendulum joint with 12° oscillating angle, all four wheels retain excellent traction, even on uneven ground conditions and the operator maintains optimal control. This increases the productivity of the entire machine system.
  • The large articulation and pendulum angle ensures high traction on the ground, making the machine easy to maneuver. As a result, there is no collision between the front and rear sections of the machine in confined conditions.

Perfectly tuned P-kinematics

  • The advantage of P-kinematics lies in the precise parallel guidance over the entire lifting range.
  • Unintentional coasting is not possible, making handling easy and safe for the driver.
  • P-kinematics are used in compact machines and are the ideal choice here, as they are cheaper than Z-kinematics, for example. Z-kinematics would be oversized for compact machines, as compact machines are not generally used for continuous and heavy material handling.

Split hydraulic hoses

  • Wacker Neuson wheel loaders are designed with short hydraulic hose lengths in mind, and the hoses are split at several points. Therefore, if a hydraulic hose needs replacing, only the affected part will need to be replaced, not the entire hose in the hydraulic circuit. This speeds up repair times enormously and is also cost-efficient.

Inch brake pedal: Engine output where it is needed.

  • 1. No pressure on inch brake pedal: full power for the drive system 2. Slightly depressed inch-brake pedal: speed is reduced, more power to the work hydraulics. 3. Firmly depressed brake-inch pedal: The speed is reduced further, even more power to the work hydraulics. 4. Fully depressed inch-brake pedal: the wheel loader stands still, full power to the work hydraulics.
  • The advantages of the inch-brake pedal are obvious: less wear on the operating brake and optimum power distribution of the engine output.

Flat-Face Hydraulic Couplings

  • Easy exchange of attachments: The flat-face hydraulic couplings are easy to clean and ensure less contamination throughout the hydraulic system. Hardly any leakage occurs when connecting hydraulic hoses, keeping hands, the machine, the attachment and the ground clean.
  • Flat-face hydraulic couplers also allow attachments to be connected under pressure, saving time. All coupling types are mounted on the same bulkhead for easy access.
